Bathing Beauty
We have a little pool set up on the back deck for Karis to play with. I fill it up in the morning and then let it sit all day to warm up. We usually go out and play in it after her nap. The first couple of times it took a little convincing to get her to stay in the pool and sit down. She still likes to climb in and out of it better than just sit there and play. She especially likes it when I turn on the hose a little bit and let her play with the watering wand. We have learned to keep shoes on her because everytime she gets on the deck barefoot, she ends up with splinters in the bottom of her feet and toes. Daddy is the official splinter surgeon in this house.
I have a bunch of 4" plastic azalea pots that she loves to throw in the pool. Then she pulls them out and throws them in again. I look forward to getting a membership to the YMCA and taking her in a real swimming pool. I had planned on doing that this winter but my foot surgery sidelined that idea!

Hello, My name is Karis Korrene McConnell. I am much older then your precious Karis. I was born on August 8th, 1966. When I was born there were very few people named Karis but there sure are alot more now. I just thought that this was a really neat website and enjoyed seeing another Karis. My maiden name was Karis Korrene Kittle.
