Karis schmoozes with her family
We had a very busy weekend in March. Uncle Todd and his girlfriend stopped by for 24 hours and Great Grandpa Les and Elin stopped by for a couple of days as well. Wish we could have spent more time with Todd and Elle, but it was good to see them. Karis had been sick the previous week and wasn't quite back to her normal self. We managed to get a three generation picture of Karis, Andy and his grandfather, but never got one with Andy's mom in it as well. Oh well, next time they come through we'll get the 4 generation picture.

First popsicle a hit
Karis was sick, didn't really have much of an appetite and wasn't drinking much either. After a visit to the pediatrician, with recommendations to get her to take in liquids any way possible, we stopped by the store and got some popsicles. She loved them! I think the face says it all. We gave her a grape one to begin with. She was a little hesitant with the first lick/bite but it didn't take long. She ended up with a purple tongue and purple drool running down her face. She identifies them with the sign of "icecream".

Fish Lips
Karis has begun showing this face whenever anyone makes any "bodily noises". We take full responsibility as she is copying the face that we make when she burps or toots. She does it other times as well, like whenever anything suprises her. We see it quite often!
