Karis and "Aunt Barbara"

About 9 days after I had foot surgery, my good friend Barbara came for a visit. I had just gotten my wheelchair and was able to get out and got to do a few touristy things. Karis had a good time with her "Aunt BaBa". Barbara would keep an eye on Karis so I could get some things done or just lay down for a few minutes. Karis was given a couple of new toys, one of which was a stuffed Beagle which quickly became a favorite. Karis would be going down for a nap and would sign dog to have the Beagle in the crib with her. It is so well loved that it has since lost the end of it's leather nose. I can only imagine that Karis bit it off and swallowed it as I have never found the piece of leather!

It is good to hear from you. I kept telling everyone that You have not updated Karis's patch and I was worried about it. I was so glad today to look and see all the new photos. She is sure getting big and beautiful. I hope everything turns out alright with your foot.
